and that wear ends up in the food you're
about to eat.

Plastic bowls shed every time the servers scrape the surface.
Most people don't think about what their bowl is made of. We think they should.
Not all wood is the same.
Acacia is one of the densest hardwoods available - naturally antimicrobial, resistant to water, and finished with food-grade mineral oil. Nothing else.
It doesn't shed. It doesn't leach. And unlike plastic, it doesn't degrade into your food over time.
It’s how you serve it
The kind of thing that makes a table look considered without trying.
Just set it down and it belongs.
Most kitchenware degrades with use.
Acacia does the opposite.
The grain deepens, the colour warms.
The bowl you have in a year will look better than the one that arrived.
Yes. The bowl and servers are made from solid acacia and finished with food-grade mineral oil only.
Food-grade mineral oil, and nothing else. No chemical sealants or synthetic finishes of any kind.
Hand wash with warm water and a little mild soap, then dry straight away. That's all it needs for everyday use.
We'd recommend against it. The heat and prolonged moisture can dry out the wood over time.
Hand washing keeps it looking its best.
Not with normal care. Acacia is a dense, stable hardwood - it's chosen specifically for how well it holds up to daily kitchen use.
